The University of Georgia has selected O'Neal to do renovation on the original Complex Carbohydrate Research Center (CCRC) which was originally designed by O'Neal. The CCRC, later renamed the Riverbend South Research Building, houses many different types of research on campus. The renovation of the building will be to complete a Nano-Tech lab using the design-build method for project delivery. O'Neal is serving as prime, providing engineering as well as construction services. The project is the first lab renovation at UGA to use the design-build method of project delivery.

The estimated budget for the project is $1.2 million and construction is scheduled to be completed by October of 2009.
