O'Neal Participates in Hands on Greenville Day 2013

On Saturday, May 4, 2013, twenty-six O'Neal team members from all design disciplines, support personnel and construction professionals and their spouses and children participated in Hands on Greenville (HOG) Day by providing the good folks at the Frazee Dream Center with help to do some chores to keep the building looking clean and neat.  This is the third consecutive year that O'Neal has volunteered at the Frazee Dream Center.

All skill levels were needed for this project which involved demolishing a bathroom, cleaning, and organizing.  Children that attend the Frazee Center also pitched in to help improve their facility.

O'Neal has had a team participate in HOG Day since 2005.  This year, our site coordinator was O'Neal Project Manager, Alan Gaskill, who was responsible for team assignments and overall management of the site on HOG Day.

The day included an after party at Fluor Field from noon until 2 p.m. with free food (box lunches from Fatz, Tavern 24, and Tablefields), free beer (Thomas Creek Ale), Pepsi products, and as always, a free t-shirt.

The Frazee Dream Center is a free preschool, after school and summer program for under resourced children in the downtown Greenville area.  The program offers assistance and guidance to children ages 3-16 in the areas of academics, character development, sportsmanship and emotional wellness.  To learn more about Frazee and its mission, click here.
