O'Neal Presents and Exhibits at 2017 SelectUSA Investment Summit

O’Neal presented and exhibited at the 2017 SelectUSA Investment Summit June 18-20, at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, MD. 

“The SelectUSA Investment Summit is the premiere event for firms looking to invest in the U. S.,” said Kevin Bean, O’Neal’s President and CEO.  “As a company that has extensive experience designing and building facilities for international firms, O’Neal is proud to be a key part of the 2017 SelectUSA Investment Summit.”

O'Neal exhibited at the Summit in booth 1002. In addition, O’Neal was a featured a presenter. O’Neal’s David Hardy, AIA, LEED-AP,  Preconstruction Facilities Manager, and Brian Gallagher, CPSM, Vice President of Marketing, presented Planning, Designing and Constructing Manufacturing Facilities in the United States on Monday, June 19.

The SelectUSA Investment Summit is the highest profile event to connect global companies and U.S. EDOs to facilitate business investment in the United States. Representatives from 48 U.S. states and territories and 42 international markets were part of the Summit.

The previous three Summits attracted thousands of international investors, with the 2016 Summit alone attracting more than 2,600 total attendees, including investors from 70 markets, EDOs from 52 U.S. states and territories, and 22 chiefs of mission. Past Summit participants have announced more than $20.6 billion in new investment projects in the United States.

The United States is currently home to more foreign direct investment than any other country in the world, with a total stock of $3.1 trillion at the end of 2015. FDI supports more than 12 million direct and indirect U.S. jobs, and is responsible for more than one-quarter of all U.S. goods exports ($425 billion).
