Modular Carpet + Tile Manufacturing Facility

Interface, Inc. is a global commercial flooring company and one of the world’s largest manufacturers of carpet tiles and resilient flooring. The company’s headquarters is in Atlanta, GA. However, the center of operations is in LaGrange, GA.

This location mainly focuses on the manufacturing and production of the product. Interface is known for its innovative and new approaches to all things flooring related. Their unique ideas have helped grow the company substantially, creating a need to expand. Interface selected O’Neal to provide design and construction services for the expansion.

The expansion was broken into two phases. Phase one, was completed in 2018 and added 45,000 square feet of production space. Phase two is slated for a 2019 completion and will transition a 30,000 square foot warehouse operation to a new purpose-built 100,000 square foot facility.

The finished building has a unique appearance. The large accent window gives a modern and classy feel to a traditional manufacturing facility.
